Purplish Gold Look

Hey everyone!

It was in the morning before I went to school, I sat in my vanity thinking "what look should I do today?".. I checked out my make up collection, and found my old Urban Decay Ammo Shadowbox. This palette has shimmery, almost glitter eyeshadows. So, be careful when you applied it on your eyes, it may have some fall out. Anyway, since it is so shimmery, it is perfect for summer! and the colors are so pigmented and beautiful! So, I created this Purplish Gold look for y'all! :D

The look is basically like this...

Eyes:

MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot, Urban Decay Ammo Shadowbox, MAC Beauty Marked,  L'Oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eye Liner, MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder, Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara
Sigma SS239, Sigma SS222, Sigma SS224, Sigma SS219
MAC Beauty Marked

  1. Prime your eyes with MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot all over your eye lids up to your brow, with your finger.
  2. Take Chopper from Urban Decay Ammo Shadowbox, and place it on the eye lid, using Sigma SS239.
  3. Take Last Call from the same palette, and place it lightly on the crease. I said 'lightly' because this color is so pigmented, and you do not want to look too purple on the crease (but it is a pretty lid color!). I use Sigma SS222.
  4. Place MAC Beauty Marked in the outer corner, and blend it to the crease, using Sigma SS224.
  5. Take Polyester Bride from the same palette, and place it under your brow for highlighting. Put a bit of it in the inner corner too for opening your eyes :) .. just use the same brush, Sigma SS224.
  6. Line your upper lash line with L'Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner, Carbon Black, 0.05-Fluid Ounce.
  7. Then, line your water line with MAC Eye Kohl Smolder
  8. Take MAC Beauty Marked again, and place it under your lower lash line, then smudge it out to get that smokey effect, using Sigma SS219.
  9. Curl your lashes and use your favorite mascara! I used Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara Black
You're done with the eyes!

Let's move on to the face..

Misha Perfect BB Cream, Palladio Rice Powder Natural, Benefit Hoola Bronzer,  MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Pink Power, Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in medium, Urban Decay De-Slick Make-up Setting Spray

Sigma F84, Sigma SS190, MAC 109, Sigma SS194

  1. Put MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream No.23 Natural Beige SPF42 PA+++ (50ml) all over your face, as usual! :) use Sigma F84.
  2. Have dark circles? Cover it with Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Medium and use Sigma SS194.
  3. Pat Palladio Rice Powder Natural using powder puff to set up your foundation and concealer.
  4. Frame your face up using bronzer! but not too much. Use it only to contour your cheeks or nose, jaws, and on the side of forehead. I used my favorite matte bronzer, Benefit Cosmetics Hoola, and my favorite contouring brush, MAC 109.
  5. Take all the color in MAC Pink Power Mineralize Skin Finish, and sweep it in to your apple cheeks using Sigma SS190. This product was from MAC Wonder Women collection.
  6. Set your make up by spraying Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray 4 fl oz (118 ml), especially if you have oily skin, because it will control oil from your face throughout the day giving you a beautiful matte finish.
And you are done!

From closer look, this look is pretty colorful but not too much. It is still wearable either for day or night out (I used it both! heehee).

Tell me, do you like this look?
