Product FAIL! Pond's Clarant B3 Dark Spot Correcting Moisturizer

Hi lovelies! I just want to do a quick share with you about this product. It is Pond's Clarant B3 Dark Spot Correcting Moisturizer. I got it at Walmart last week, and it was on sale. You all know that my biggest skin problem is acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. This moisturizer is supposed to help dark spots on your face in 4 weeks, and to even out your skin tone in 2 weeks. So I thought why not give it a try?

The first time I was using it was at night time. After I finished cleansing my face, I put this on and I felt my skin was more red than usual. I did not think at all it was because of this moisturizer. So the next morning, I tried it again, and I got the same result! I could see my skin was so red, especially in the area of my acne scarring. I felt there was an inflammation going on there. Then, I knew exactly that the moisturizer was the one who caused the inflammation on my skin. After that, I returned it to Walmart, and did my skin routine like usual, and my skin is now fine.

When I applied it, it honestly did not sting my face or my face did not feel irritated at all. The texture of the moisturizer was pretty smooth, lightweight and it was fast-absorbing as well. Little did I know, apparently it makes my skin so red!

So overall, I did not recommend this product at all. I got it at Walmart for $7-ish, but originally was $8 as I remembered. If you have tried this product before, and you were fine with it, please don't stop using it just because I said this is a bad product. Keep in mind that our skin is different, so if it does not work on me, it does not mean it won't work on your skin too.
