Review&Demo: Garnier Miracle Skin Protector BB Cream

This month is like a BB Cream month! This is my third BB Cream review of the month, and there is one coming up too *hint: Lioele :)* So today I am going to do a review for one of the Western BB Creams from Garnier and a quick demo on how I do it and how well it is on my skin. In addition, the good thing about this BB Cream is it is not going to rip off your wallet and you can get this at any drugstores!

Like any other BB Creams, Garnier Miracle Skin Protector is a multi-benefit product for skin concerns such as dullness, discoloration, blotchiness and dryness. It can renew, brighten, even and hydrate your skin throughout the day. Most importantly, it has SPF 15 that will protect you from sun damage.

The main ingredient of the BB Cream is Vitamin C and Mineral Pigments that are famous for brightening the skin, evening out skin tone, making your skin look radiant and glow, and hydrating your skin for 24 hours. It is claimed that skin will instantly look airbrushed, smooth and even after one application.

In my opinion, the texture is pretty thick, but when you apply it onto the skin, it does not feel heavy at all, it feels really lightweight instead. Due to its thickness, I thought it is a full coverage BB Cream (just like a foundation!), so I was very excited. However, it is more like a tinted moisturizer and you can build up the coverage.

The main problem of this is it can make your skin look oily if you put it too much! So, I really recommend just to use a dime sized, and apply it all over your face. If you still need more coverage, use a concealer. The first time I was using it, I just put more products to cover my acne scars, and it did cover pretty well, but not fully. However, my face looked so oily afterwards, and even during the day. So, I am happy that the coverage is buildable, but not so happy the fact that the more coverage I get, the more oily I look.

The Garnier BB Cream is good to use when you want to have a quick fix in the morning, or where you do not want to have too much makeup on. It will give you a really fresh dewy skin finish. It comes in two shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. Even though the shade range is very limited, but I think it has a formula that will perfectly blend to your skin tone. I am very fair and have yellow based skin, and I am so impressed that the Light/Medium match my skin tone perfectly!

What I love about this BB Cream is it gives you a 2.5oz of the product, which is a lot! Usually regular foundations only come for around 1.5oz. This one is housed in a plastic squeeze tube, which is nice so that it won't get messy and is sanitary.

Overall, I like this BB Cream because it is affordable and it does not give me any breakouts. The quality is pretty decent, the coverage is okay, the texture feels really light on your skin. Again the downside of this is the more you put on, the more oily your skin looks. However, this is a good drugstore BB Cream that you can find in any drugstores/pharmacies.

Where to buy: Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target, any drugstores! $12.99 for 2.5 oz. (Prices may vary)

I hope you enjoyed this post! Leave in the comment below tell me what's your favorite Western BB Creams? I'd love to know and might try it out and do a review about it ;)

This is usually enough to cover my entire face without looking so oily

Then I buff into the skin with Sigma F80

This is the final result, after a little bit of concealer, powder, bronzer and blush :)
