Skin79 Hot Pink vs. Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream (Review&Demo)

As I promised I am gonna be doing a comparison of Skin79 Super Triple Function BB Cream and Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream, so here ya go!

The reason why I do this comparison is because these two are so popular in the market, it is like everyone's favorite! Plus, it happened I have both of them. So, I wanted to see which one does better and I really wanted to share with you all.

I also did an in-depth review of Skin79 Super Triple Function BB Cream in a separate post, so please check that out first (click here to read it).

Skin79 and Lioele both carry the triple function of BB Cream, which are whitening, wrinkle care, and UV protection. Lioele has more SPF than Skin79, but not that much of a difference. Lioele has SPF 30, whereas Skin79 has SPF 25. Both of these will help to whiten your skin and reduce wrinkle while having your makeup on. So, as goes to the benefits, they both are pretty much the same.

Both Skin79 and Lioele only come in one shade, and it will oxidize to match our skin tone perfectly. However, Skin79 has a grey tint to it, whereas Lioele has more a yellow tint, but it does have a slight grey also. When I apply Skin79 for the first time, my face will look extremely grey, but again it'll oxidize in the next few minutes. For Lioele's first time application, I do not look as grey as Skin79 gives me, but I can see the color is lighter than my skin tone, and I will see my face will look so 'white.' Plus, I feel Lioele oxidizes faster than Skin79. So, in terms of shade, I choose Lioele.

Now the most important one: coverage. Everyone is looking for a better coverage for their BB Cream or foundation in order to cover imperfections. However, some people will choose to have a lighter coverage just because they don't like to feel heavy on their makeup. So, which one has more coverage? Well, I must say Lioele does. As you can see in the pictures below, after the first coat of Skin79, you still can see my acne scars and redness. But then, Lioele provides more coverage after the first coat, although you still can see my acne scars and redness, it is just not as obvious as Skin79 gives me. After the second coat of Skin79, I still can see my imperfections, but I am not going to apply a third coat because that is going to make my face look cakey, so I use concealers. After applying a second coat of Lioele, I barely need any concealers, my imperfections are barely noticeable. Sometimes if I had time, I'd use concealers to cover them out, otherwise, I can straightly apply my powder, blush and bronzer afterwards. So, as goes to coverage, definitely Lioele wins.

I feel my skin is very moisturized when I have Skin79 on my face. It looks natural on my face too. The texture of it is pretty thick, but it feels really lightweight and is long wearing. Lioele's texture is thicker than Skin79, hence it provides more coverage. However, it does not control oil as well as Skin79. By the end of the day, my face will look so oily. When I touch my face, I can feel the oil and see it on my fingertip. However, it does not melt away from my face, it just does not control the produced sebum that well. So, for controlling oil, Skin79 wins.

If you have oily skin, you might want to skip Lioele and try Skin79, or if you have just a few of imperfections and do not need a full coverage BB Cream, go ahead get the Skin79 because it is lightweight and provides a good amount of coverage for your skin. However, if you need more coverage and have a lot of imperfections, I'd recommend Lioele, but two coats are probably the maximum amount of coats you can get without being cakey and feeling heavy. If you have oily skin and want more coverage, you can definitely try the Lioele, just don't forget to bring blotting papers everywhere you go and a compact pressed powder to touch up your makeup. Then, you'll look fresh again :)

For the packaging, I like Skin79 better because it looks slick, elegant and expensive, while Lioele just comes in a squeeze plastic tube. Both of them have a pump, which is good to control the amount of product you want. However, Lioele also has a plastic lid to cover the pump for sanitary purposes, while Skin79 has no protection for the pump.

Overall, I personally prefer Lioele, just because I like the coverage better. I mean both of these products won't give me a perfect skin after a few application, concealers are still needed. But it is just how much amount of concealers I need afterwards. I found I only need less concealers when I use Lioele than Skin79. I am trying a few skin care products right now that hopefully will help my acne scars fade away. Once they are cleared, I definitely will go back to Skin79. (Of course I'll let you know my skincare routine if these products really work! :))

Where to buy: Pretty and Cute, Skin79 $21.96 for 40g, Lioele $28.60 for 50ml.

Have you tried both of these products? If you have, which one you like the best? If not, which one do you prefer according to my reviews? Please share with me! I'd like to know your opinions! You can simply leave in the comment below, or follow me on Twitter and Facebook. :)

    1. You're welcome!! :) when you blend with your hands, usually it won't cover my acne scars really well. I have a lot acne scars, and I tried to apply it with my hands as well, but it didn't work. So I always use Sigma F80 mostly, but sometimes I switch back and forth to F82 and F84. These brushes are so perfect for applying liquid/cream foundation, it really gives you a nice flawless finish, and will cover the acne scars well. Here's where to buy: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=28437
