Zit No More! (how to get rid of zits overnight)

Have you experienced a zit land on your face, especially in the super wrong timing? Don't you hate it? Well, lucky you because today I am going to show you on how to kill that little evil!

No one likes to have a zit on their faces, especially when it is still new and fresh (Ughhh!). What I like to do is killing it overnight because when you are sleeping, it is when your skin is starting to do their work, and a new skin is forming. So, I like to spot-treatment it before I go to bed.

My favorite acne spot treatment product is Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I swear to this product - its fast acting formula really shrink those whiteheads while you are asleep. It has salicylic acid on it, which is known ingredient to get rid of acne. When you apply it onto the zit, this will dry quickly, but it won't dry your skin! While other acne spot treatment products can usually irritate and dry up sensitive skin, luckily the Drying Lotion is safe for all skin types.

As you can see in the picture above, there is pink sediment at the bottom. One thing you need to know most importantly is DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE. If you accidentally shake it, just let it sit for a while, let the pink sediment goes down at the bottom again. Anyway, the way to use it is after you cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin (or whatever your skin routine is), take a Q-tip and then apply a dab of the pink sediment onto the whiteheads only. Don't rub it in, let it sit and dry. Then, you'll go to sleep with a pink dot on your face, which who cares, right?

In the next morning when you wake up, rinse it off, and you'll see no more whiteheads on your face. Logically the Drying Lotion will shrink the size of your whiteheads, and you'll only see a small red dot, but the white part is gone. However, once there is no more the white part, it is less obvious and easier to cover with a concealer. So, if you have to go out on that day, cover it up with a concealer or foundation, and you'll good to go! (anyway, I will be doing a post on how to cover a zit soon!)

The Drying Lotion is really affordable too. It costs $17 and you can buy it at Ulta stores or any Mario Badescu counters, which are usually at Nordstorm :)

So that's how I get rid of whiteheads. Let me know in the comment below your way on how to get rid of whiteheads! Don't forget to follow me on Twitter, and be my friend on Facebook! Talk to you soon!
